Should you ship it or buy in Spain?
An honest answer, because it saves everyone time: flat-pack and cheap upholstery usually aren’t worth shipping — the freight cost approaches the replacement cost and Spanish retailers deliver locally. Solid wood, antiques, custom pieces, quality sofas, good mattresses and anything with sentimental value are worth every penny of the freight, because replacing them properly costs far more than moving them.
Most people end up somewhere in the middle: ship the good pieces, sell or donate the rest, and buy the gap in Spain. That’s a smaller load and a cheaper quote — which is fine by us.
